but where have I been?? Does anyone still read this thing?? I am so very sorry for the major lack of posting......

I have so many good excuses though....I'm certain you will forgive me. 

-It's summer!! Need I say more? We are playing and enjoying the sunshine.

-(although....I'm still blogging here and here.)

-I'm cutting back on my sessions and making some changes around here....I have so many things I want to do, and just not enough time. I am working on some fun projects that maybe I will share.......someday:)

-I really want to focus my attention on Iris and Light......we have lots of work to do and are excited for more weddings coming up!

and if you can't tell by the photo.....I am having too much fun jumping on other people's beds.....so I'm sure you understand....

new project!

eeeeeek! I am just so excited! I'm starting something new.....today....and it's just for me!

Lately my four year old has been asking a lot of questions about when he was "little" (because now he is so big of course:) About our house where we used to live. Our neighborhood. His room when he was born. While I've always taken more than enough photos....I feel like I don't always have the right pieces to put the puzzle back together exactly how I remember it. 

So I started a new blog. A photo a day type thing.....something I saw throughout the day. Something we did. Or just something....whatever I feel like. I hope to fill up my little corner of the internet with wonderful photos and memories, and perhaps in the future be able to print out a book or two so I can sit with the kids to pour over the pages.....

Rhett and Monica were married in the Fresno, California LDS Temple. After the ceremony we headed to downtown Fresno, which I decided was probably the best place on Earth for photos.
oh ps....it was 107°!!!! we were all dripping!!....and they lived happily ever after....

I loved these two.....although I have to say, I think they are the biggest liars. whoops!! Can I call my clients liars?? They went on and on about how awkward they were in front of the camera....how they didn't like getting their picture taken.......blah blah blah. Look at them! They were so cute and happy and fun--and so relaxed. They worked it out! I can't wait for their wedding next week!
